Returns

Due to the personal nature of cloth diapers, we do not accept returns for any reason other than manufacturer defects. This policy is in line with industry standards and is designed to ensure the safety and hygiene of our customers and their children. 

Manufacturing defects include: loose stitching, detached or stretched out elastics, damaged or missing snaps, and holes in the fabric upon arrival. 

Manufacturing defects do not include: leaking, odor issues, fading, staining, fit, shrinkage, or fabric wear and tear. Holes that develop with use are considered normal “wear and tear” and are not considered a defect. 

Upon receiving your order, please inspect each item carefully and let us know within 30 days if you notice any defects by emailing support@lunapaca.com so we may repair or replace the item. 

 

Repairs / Our Commitment 

At Lunapaca, we are committed to quality and sustainability. While natural fibers require special care, we also want to help you extend the life of your alpaca diaper cover as much as possible.

With this goal in mind, we offer free repairs on broken snaps, detached elastics, and loose seams for original owners up to 1 year from the date of purchase. Please note we can not repair damaged fabric, including rips or holes. Customers are responsible for shipping eligible items to us for repair (plus the cost of return shipping if located outside of the United States). 

Additionally, we have mending kits available for purchase for $15 (plus the cost of shipping). These kits include either a complete set of replacement snaps or elastics. For snap mending kits, you will need to have access to a snap press machine or a local sewist who can attach the snaps for you. Mending kits are only available to repair damaged Lunapca alpaca diaper covers at this time.

To check if your repair is eligible, or to request a mending kit, please email us at support@lunapaca.com along with your order number (if applicable) and photo of what needs to be repaired.

Include your original packing slip OR a note with your order number, email address, and return shipping address inside with your repair.

Be sure your cover is clean and completely dry before sending it in for repair to avoid any risk of mildew while in transit. Dirty items will not be repaired.

 

Shrinkage and Fit

Shrinkage is expected, especially of natural fibers, including alpaca, cotton, and hemp. Fit is not guaranteed. Suggested weight ranges are only approximations and shrinkage will vary. Due to the personal nature of cloth diapers, we can not offer size exchanges or accept any return of worn or washed diapers. 

 

Leaks

Leaks are not considered a defect. Cloth diapering with all natural fibers can take some trial and error. If you are experiencing leaks, please reach out to support@lunapaca.com and we will be happy to troubleshoot with you to ensure a successful cloth diapering journey. 

 

Shipping Insurance

Route Package Protection is automatically added to each order and is not refundable. If you deselect package protection prior to completing your order, Lunapaca LLC is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items. All such claims must be submitted directly to Route or to the third party shipping provider (USPS, UPS, or DHL).

 

Subject to Change

Our return policy is subject to change, and any updates will be communicated on our website. We reserve the right to refuse any returns or repairs that do not meet our policy requirements.
